Apply for a Sponsored Woodworking Workshop
The Joinery Project works to create opportunities for community members to experience woodworking through fully sponsored seats in select hands-on workshops.
Through our collaboration with Sawdust Studios, selected participants may join regularly scheduled woodworking classes at no cost. Participants will learn woodworking skills while completing a project to take home. No previous woodworking experience is required for introductory workshops.
Sponsored workshop opportunities are made possible through support from The Joinery Project, our donors and community partners, and, for select workshops, generous donations of instruction and materials from Sawdust Studios.
The Joinery Project's mission is to make woodworking more accessible by creating opportunities for people to learn, create, and develop hands-on skills. These sponsored seats are intended especially for people who are interested in woodworking but may not otherwise have access to a shop, tools, instruction, or the resources needed to participate in a class.
